Cheri Arnsdorff

Patent Agent

Cheri Arnsdorff is a patent agent for Johnson, Marcou, Isaacs & Nix, LLC (JMIN). Her background is in mechanical engineering, mathematics and science. 


Prior to joining JMIN, Ms. Arnsdorff was a teacher at Halls High School in Knoxville, TN, where she taught mathematics and physics. She established an AP Physics course, and in the 2016-2017 school year, Halls High School ranked 1stplace in Knox County Schools passing rate for the AP Physics C Exam. The same year, Halls High School ranked 2nd place in Knox County Schools for AP Calculus BC Exam. 


Previously, Ms. Arnsdorff was a project engineer/project manager at Ameresco, a systems engineering and management corporation, in Knoxville, TN. She helped oversee projects including Tyndall Air Force Base Cogeneration Plant, Fort Belvoir Steam Distribution System Survey, Ground Source Heat Pump Analysis for the Johnson Space Center, Fort Dix Boiler Replacement, Chiller Plant Upgrade at Fort McPherson, and the Department of Defense Energy Awareness Seminars.


Ms. Arnsdorff obtained a bachelor of mechanical engineering, specializing in thermal sciences, at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, and a transitional teaching license at Teach Tennessee Institute in Nashville, TN.  She is a licensed engineer and a licensed teacher in the state of Tennessee.
